He continued his training by completing a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Louisville. He then joined the prestigious Georgetown University Medical School and served as an associate professor for nine years.
When it comes to complicated diseases, Dr. Bayasi practices a multidisciplinary approach. This means involving other specialties to ensure patients get the best treatment option available. Dr. Bayasi specializes in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
